Summary

In the 1960s, the American biochemist, Dr. Ida Rolf, the founder of Rolfing® Structural Integration, was already discovering that gravity and fascia play an important role for upright posture and economical movement. “Put it where it belongs and ask for movement” – this statement by Dr. Ida Rolf indicates how important it is that the body prepares itself ideally for each movement.

The Rolf Movement intensive training (30 days) is offered in three parts in Munich and the parts can be booked in any order and can be spread over a few years. Each part will be offered every 12-14 months.

1. FUNCTIONAL EMBODIMENT OF THE 10 ROLFING SESSIONS

2. INTRODUCTION TO LEADING ROLF MOVEMENT GROUPS

3. STRATEGY AND DESIGN OF A ROLF MOVEMENT 3-SERIES

Each part provides you with 10 Movement credits – so by completing one part, you'll already have all the Movement and elective credits you need for the Advanced Training.

After attending all three parts you will get the Rolf Movement™ certificate and can use the service mark Rolf Movement™. (ERA-membership needed)

You’ll learn about

FUNCTIONAL EMBODIMENT OF THE 10 ROLFING® SESSIONS

Understanding "why we do what we do” in each session is the main focus of this part of the RM training.
In this part of the training, you will deepen your understanding of the functional aspects of the Rolfing Ten Series. The embodied explorations will be a platform for you to deepen your understanding of the Rolfing process and to be able to therefore offer more resonant movement explorations for your clients in their sessions.

Manual skills are taught during the basic Rolfing training to learn how to proceed from session to session of the series to help your clients to have the best possible alignment in gravity. Here you will learn how to educate your clients to  perceive gravity and how they can better allow gravity to flow through their bodies.
In these 10 days you’ll learn how to guide the clients with embodiment exercises and sequences in bringing awareness of their postural and movement patterns and  find better and more economica co-ordination options.
